I happen to own several Burris scopes including three FF's and three Signatures. The 1.5-6 Signature I used to have had wonderful glass for the money and mechanically was just fine. The turret position was some of the absolute worst I have ever experienced.
My 6-24 Signature had the Light Collector fail. Again the optics are great on this scope but this has been the only mechanical problem I have had in over twenty years of owning various Burris models.
Burris obviously has listened to customer input because many of these designs have changed. Burris advertised the new turret positioning a few years back because of these complaints.
I most certainly know the difference between the Burris and Tasco scopes I have used.
