Does anyone have an estimate of a fair value of a pristine Leupold 1.5-5? Thanks Chaz

Well, a brand new one is $400. On ebay someone would probably pay $300 for it.

I agree with Ed, but some of the fools on "ebay" will pay more than retail.

It's worth its weight in gold if you are standing in front of and angry cape buffalo with a rifle.

Gents/Thanks for your advice. I don't think much of ebay however, so I won't put it up for bid there. I will ask $325 and pay the shipping. I put about 50 rounds through my .338 with it on the range, then one through the Coastal Alaskan Brownie in 2003. Bear came out of the woods at 20 yards; guide says it was only 15 yds, but I think he was just nervous. The scope sits in my gunsafe. I switched it out for a 3x9 for the long shots I get at Wyoming mulies. The Hornady Interbond 225 gr really shoots flat, bucks the wind, & retains energy./ Chaz
