Went to gander mountain 2 mounths ago.Thy had a used weatherby mark 5 in 300 wby mag for 799.00 the gun looked new.Went up there yesterday it was still there and  marked down to 489.00 .It came home with me.

Call Weatherby or check their web site to see how old that rifle is by running the serial #.

Had one before got out of school  got marred had kids needed money sold it and cryed.That was 12 years ago.Now i have one again!!My first weatherby was like this one i paid 900.00 for that one 14 years ago.

You stole that gun, excellent! When I finally get around to a Weatherby it will be a Mark V in .300.
Some of the USA made guns are manufactured by Saco Defense in Maine and are very well made.

I've shot the Mark V in .257. That is a sweetie in that big gun, very little recoil.
