what is or is their a difference between the AH series and the KX series? I know that the AH is not on Kahles web site. Thanks for the help

They are exactly the same optically. There were/are a couple models in each series that isn't in the other. Other than that, they have a few minor cosmetic differences, such as different looking serrations on the W/E caps and power ring. The models with the same magnification range are almost identical specification-wise. As you discovered, AH is discontinued.

Oh, and AH had the TDS reticle option and KX has the 4D and mil dot reticle options. As for the models, KX has a 4-12X50 that AH didn't have, and AH had a 2-7X36 in both centerfire and rimfire models that KX doesn't have.

Also, the KX 3.5-10X50 4D is parallax free at 200, not 100.
