I've bought two Zeiss Conquest on ebay with no problems....everything went as advertised. No offense, but this is the other side of the story.

another thing to remember, never bid on a item where the seller has no feedback, or is mis advertising the product... perfect example would be the auction for a 2004 polaris 700 twin that they had won in a coca cola promotion, and was for sale for $2300, and the pictured 4wheeler was a 2003 600 twin......DUUHHHHH....... and they were in the bahamas. unsure why bias against Aetec scopes; 2.8x10 on my win 270 shoots 1 1/8 groups. hunted wyoming oct 04 and found it to be a great scope..sometimes the extra $$ just pays for bigger adds.......what do you think?

I love the AETEC, especially the original made in Japan AETECs. Can't beat them in that price range.

Your comment on the ballistics of your 25WSM couldn't be closer to the truth. All of the WSM's are no hotter than their predecesores, they are just avalible in shorter actions..........

Another opinion to add ,,,,
Leupold are good scopes, but overpriced and their power rings are murder to turn
Nikon quality has taken a turn for the worse being assembled in the Phillipines now..Plus, had new Monarch that wouldn't hold zero and Nikon tried to charge me $170 to repair it.. took alot of time to get issue cleared up
Zeiss - always a good choice..
Could also look at Burris Signature and Bushnell Elite 4200's for similar money..
The 25WSSM virtually duplicates the 25-06.. just use the heaviest bullets available for deer sized game Edited by martin3175 |
