Wow! That's on the website, but not the catalog. No wonder I stick to Brownings and Tikkas.

I like their opening comment from that page...
"South paws are people too, and all people deserve the legendary accuracy and dependability of Remington® Model 700™ rifles."
... reminding all us regular folks that you lefties are indeed members of the human race just like the rest of us!

No....
I'm "thinking" of giving Savage a whirl this time though. They offer more rifles in LH configurations than Remington and their rifles look a LOT better to me now than years past.
Swapping barrels is said to be a snap too. Nice feature.
I just thought it was ironic how the companies LH website stated that "lefties are people too", then showed a RH rifle (LTR) and a dude shooting it left handed.
Kinda like...
"Here's your left handed rifle, you backassward idiot!!
"Shut up, buy it and shoot!!"

I couldn't agree more with this statement."Here's your left handed rifle, you backassward idiot!!
I have a savage in 30-06 and have been using it for over 10 years , now they have the accu triger. I'm sure you will not be dissapointed. I just purchased a new browning bar long trac in left hand. Its a wonder that they even made an auto in left hand
Have not had the chance to shoot it but it feels great when you hold it up to your sholder.

Sorry guys, I've been brain dead for a couple of days, back to this tread. I agree it is rather stupid of their marketing department to thing that no one would notice that little mistake on their part. Lucky thing for them most of us don't care if they think where all backasswards.
Remington has been good to me so I'll give them a pass. But CT's right, that little tricked out savage Chris was selling on gun broker would have looked good next to black betty's twin sister. The bolt just wasn't on the right (no pun intended) side though!!! |

Mr Mike made that rifle sing!!! These groups are SICK!!!!!
Read em and weep, Remington fans!!!
These are TWO five shot, 100 yard groups. IIRC off a bipod, shooter prone on the dirt.
