I found 2 cans of imr7828 that my step dad had in the basement never open at least 8 years old.Are they any good.

As long as they were kept cool & dry, they should be fine for years. If you have any reservations that they may be bad, discard them, its not worth the worry or the $50.00. One must have complete faith in the materials used in the reloading process.

The general consensus is that it will be good. Powder has a lot of graphite and other stabilizing material.
