Just wondering if anyone out there has had a chance to check out the Brunton Scopes?  I know they make quailty binoculars and spotting scopes, but how are the rifle scopes?  I like many of their products, (i.e. compasses, camp stoves, lighters, ect.) and wonder if the put the same craftsmanship in their scopes?

value is in the eye of the beholder - you may find you like something they make - they are counting on it.

I have seen some innovative survival gear camping gear from Brunton, but its way too late to jump into competition with the big optics companies, Nikon, Bushnell, Leupold etc. I dont see Brunton as a viable contender in optics, but they may find a specialty nitch.

Last year I picked up a Brunton spotter for range use. Yeah, I know it was a cheapie. It was a lightweight, 12-36 X 50 made in China. For the intended purpose it's not half bad. It's no Nikon or Swaro, but I only paid less than a hundred bucks for it.

I DO NOT take chances on unproven products, I will wait for the reviews.
