This is the view of where I am living for the summer.  It is 20 miles west of Bozeman, Montana.

This is looking east at the Bridger Mountains from the front deck.

Now looking south.

One of the moon coming up.

I had to shrink the size of that last photo, so I apologize for the poor quality.  I assure you the original is much better.

I will add more photos as I get some.  I should be flying the area in a couple weeks, so that should give me some really good pics to share.

Is that why they call it Big Sky country!!!!   Wow one day I need to pay you a visit.    I live on the southwest slope of Double Oak Mountain (if you can call a 1100 ft hill a mountain) LOL

That is why they call it Big Sky Country.  And feel free to come visit at any time.  The feild elevation at the airport is 4774 feet.  Most of the mountain ranges hit at least 9000, and several top out over 11,000.  I am trying to arrange a weekend to take a bunch of people for a helo ride over the mountains in a couple weeks.

Pyro, it is kinda like central Wyoming.  Once I can get to the right spot, I will take a pic on eight points of the compass.  There are mountains in every direction within 30 miles.  I work right at the base of the Bridger Mountains.

Andy, that's truly awesome!  I would love to live in a place like that, but alas, my chosen career field doesn't lend itself to it.  I envy you, man!

Helo. Nice pic's. I would love to ramble around a place like that on a daily basis, but first I have got to get the beach house (hers) taken care of then to the hunting/roaming around aimlessly shooting place( mine). I truly admire your place brother.

America has some great views and scenery. We all need to stop and smell the roses from time to time.
When you see pics like Stephanie posted, it makes one sit up and appreciate the outdoors.
We also have some places I would rather go shark diving then live there.
