I recently bought a Mueller APV scope and there is a sticker on the scope that says nitrogen gas port. Anybody have any idea what the port is for or if I can take the sticker off?

It is where the final purge is done with Nitrogen to keep the scope from fogging internally. The decal is just letting you know what it is and is not part of the seal, you can remove it.

I have three Muellers as of today and so far I am happy with each one. NO ISSUES with any of them so far. Two on 17HMR's One on a 22-250 and they have not FAILED me so far. For the money they are a good quality scope. IMHO of course

Thats good to hear. I was wondering about the scopes they make for .30 caliber and up. Will they hold up to the recoil of a .300 WBY Mag?

Just thought I'd throw in my two cents worth. I too have 3 Mueller scopes and love every one of them. In my opinion I believe they are the best bang for our buck hands down. I have a silver Eradicator on my Howa 22-250 (man I love that gun) and the 8.5-25x44 Tactical Riflescope on my Savage Mako 17HMR (love that gun too) and the last one is a APV on my 10/22 (not done customizing this one yet . Before I bought my first Mueller I did a lot of research and found a couple of great reviews which I can't seem to find at this present moment but if I run across it I will repost. But the gentleman took the Eradicator and mounted it on his 22-250 sighted it in and then performed the box test.. 5 shots move scope 10 clicks up 5 shots move scope 10 clicks right 5 shots move scope 10 clicks down 5 shots move scope 10 clicks left and then the next shots were in the exact same holes as where he started from. Then he took the scope and mounted it on some sort of big 30 cal I can't recall the exact one maybe a 338 or so. He strapped the gun into a lead sled and put the but of the gun against a cement block wall and fired 50+ rounds through it. Then mounted it back on the 22-250 and it was still dead on. Then to really test the scope out he mounted the scope to a 50 cal and again strapped it in a lead sled and butt agaist the wall to make sure the scope was taking a beating and shot 50 or so rounds through it. Finally he remounted it on the 22-250 and again it was still holding zero. he concluded his review with if you are able to abuse a scope more that this short of throwing it on the ground then he would like to hear about it!!
So with this little information, I ordered one up and fell in love with it. I know it's not the top end scope but it's not a top end price either. I have looked through various scopes with various price tags and feel in my opinion that this is a great scope for the price and probably a great scope for twice the price.
Sorry for the lengthy post but I had a lot to say about these scopes.
Here is a nice post about their shotgun scope : http://www.shotgunworld.com/reviews_mueller.htm

I was a tad bit off on my recolection of the above review that I had read and I can't find the full article but I did find his shorter version posted on Muellers website and here is the quote:

I'm impressed with beating the Mueller can take. What I want to know is does it stay zero'd when changing power settings. I'm interested in the 4.5x14x40 APV. Has anyone tested it for for keeping zero through multiple power changes?

In theory theory and practice are the same, but in practice they are not.

I have the Mueller 4.5x14x40 APV on a CZ 452 in .17HM2 and the scope seems to hold its zero at 100 yards within about 1/2" from low to high. Not too bad for an inexpensive scope. So far the dozen or so times I have had the gun out with this scope on it, the scope has maintained zero.
