I just received my SS 10X40 and the manual (if you call it that) and the warrenty card.
Both are from Tasco.
Are the scopes really Tasco? or Super Sniper?
Who would I contact for warrenty work if I need it?
And, last but not least.
Is there more comprehensive instructions other than the generic Tasco one?
Thanks,

The SS10x42 is a Super Sniper not a Tasco scope. In the attempt to pass the most savings possible on to our customers we left the Tasco name on the Owners Manual and Warranty card. The Owners Manual in the box is the only literature available for the scope. Tasco has no affiliation with the Super Snipers anymore. They are soley owned by SWFA Inc. The warranty work is done through Bushnell.

Thanks Chris II,

Let me get this straight:

The scope is not a Tasco.

However, you guys gave us a manual and warrenty card from Tasco.
And, we should not mail in because SWFA owns Super Sniper who is not Tasco.
But, If I have a warrenty problem it will go to Bushnell for repair?
Do I send it to SWFA who in turn sends it to Bushnell?
I don't have a problem, I just want to make sure I know who to contact if I do.

Correct we bought these scopes from Tasco. Tasco has nothing to do with these scopes anymore. They still have their warranty cards. If you have a problem with it you send it directly back to Bushnell. Who I believe are in Overland Park Kansas.

That is about as well put as you can get. Tasco is owned by the same company that owns Bushnell. It is not uncommon for other companies to take over warranty work anyway. My company, Seeadler of Nuremberg, repairs all makes of scopes and bino's. They get very much business from Euro countries, and even a little from here in the U.S.. Like older, now defunct Euro glass.
Good job on the scopes, Chris. You guys put out some great stuff.
