Elite 4200 3-9?

No question the 4200 is better than the older Vari-XII, not the newer VXII, I haven't tried one of those. The 4200 is without question better than my FFII. I love my 1.75-5 FFII but it just isn't in the same class as my 4200. The Monarch is very close and one being better than the other is debatable but the Nikon doesn't offer Rainguard.

Alot of folks, including me, think the 4200 is better optically than the VX3's. The 4200 is very close to a Conquest IMO.

I do think that the 4200's are better than the VXII's but I was saying that I have no experience with the VXII's so I cannot state this to be a categorical fact.
Like I said earlier, I think the 3-9X40 Elite 4200 is the very best buy out there if a 3-9 scope fits your needs.
