just got it in and think it's going to be a stellar little scope
while I haven't got a chance to take it out in low light (tonight) the image appears very, very sharp and clear across the glass all the way to the edges reticle (4a) is nice illuminated dot while not as bright as an Eotech, etc.. is visible in full light it's small and so it's not nearly as pronounced, it is visible as for the 1.25x on the low end, it sure seems 1x to me, or so close I don't care can't wait to get it out and shooting |

Glad you like it. It is a very nice little scope and the glass quality is exceptional for this price range.
As for 1.25x, it is indeed 1.25x (at least on my scope, since I measured it), but for the purposes of aiming with both eyes, most people are not bothered by that in the slightest. ILya |

it may indeed have a tiny bit of magnification but it's very subtle
it may not do for a professional (LE or Military) but for the average weekend warrior interested in a low power variable if certainly fills the bill and is very reasonably priced be cool if they did a 2-7 in the same price range |

There will be a 1-6.5x scope in the Elite 6500 line in a year or so. While a bit more expensive, it should be a very nice piece.

shooting 75g TAP, one ragged hole off to hunt this weekend, this will get used for some coyote hunting |
