I have not purchased one one these mounts yet, but they look great. One piece with rings so no ring alignment problems? Has anyone used these and what do you think? Are they good for very heavy scopes like Pentax lightseeker 30mms?

I've mounted a set on a kimber montana .260. Indeed they look great, I believe they are made from aluminum bar stock, so they are rather light. How they would hold up on a heavy recoiling gun with large heavy scope, I do not know, but they should work fine on my light kicking montana with light scope.

I have been wondering about these also. I like the looks of them and want to put it on a 270 Weatherby Mag.

Those rings have gotten decent reviews here and other forums.
Talley also makes one piece ring mounts.
