I'm starting to put together a long range rifle.
After reading all the posts I've decided on a SuperSniper Scope. (Haven't decided on a rifle yet)
I want to shoot say 400 - 1000+ yards.
I'd like to ask the experienced long range shooters:
Should I get the 10X or the 16X SuperSniper?
Thanks

Think mirage.
With a variable, when mirage is really bad you can adjust magnification downward to lessen the visual effect and still maintain enough presence to call wind in the scope.
With a fixed power you don't have the ability. So if you're going to shoot past 400 yards the I'd recommend the fixed 10x, it's more flexible under a broader sectrum of conditions and lighting.

Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

I'd do 10X.
