Paul, my friend, The Rules of Engagement here state that we are NOT to post links to other optics vendors.
#3.

Secondly, that scope is a SS knock off.
Notice the "20x42" on the objective. The real deal doesn't have that.
To my knowledge, if it don't come from SWFA, it ain't a true Super Sniper.

I sincerely apolize for violating the rules of engagement.  I will be sure to not have this happen again.  Thank you for pointing my over zealous error.
On the other point you made, please take a look at this URL.  It is NOT from any other optics vendor.  It is from SWFA.  Take a look at the objective end of the scope pictured.  Thanks for you comments.

Weeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllll now this should be in interesting conversation.
That's no knock off if the photo represents the actual product being sold, looks like it might  be  a real deal with a modified shade.

I didn't think you were trying to pimp another optics vendor on this site, Paul.

I guess I'm wrong about the markings on the objective. My 10x doesn't have it, I'm more than certain. I should have checked into that before shooting my mouth off.

Curious...

I wonder what Chris thinks about that.  I suspect it is a knock off, since the words "Super Sniper" or "Made in Japan" are not in the description.  I wonder if the picture matches the product.  It looks like someone swiped it from SWFA.

It is my picture for sure.  We had one of each SS factory samples with the markings on the obj like that.  I took them to a photo studio in Dallas and we shot them from the behind and on top of the ocular.  The picture is supposed to be displayed verticle, look at the lighting and the angle.  Our web guy put that same image on our site horizontal too and it always bothered me, so we replaced our images a while back.

There is some sort of fraud going on here for sure, we need to order one and see what shows up.  I'll call them tomorrow and pose as a customer.

Something funny is going on for sure.  I saw that same thing about Leupold and thought it was a bit strange.  I hope you get some hard data and see exactly what is going on with these people.  Maybe these are chinese copies.  I have read about a lot of product fraud going on.  Hope you keep the forum readers up to speed on this.  At least I do know one thing for sure.  If I get it from SWFA then its what it is suppose to be and SWFA backs what they sell.

Well, whoever is promoting it sure knows his stuff...
(You can tell, simply by the way this 20x scope, complete with MIL-DOTS, is described as being ideal for hunting African LEOPARDS!!!)    Say%20What

DO not forget that the 20x42 configuration is ideal for the maximum amount of light to get to your eye.  Also apparently that scope has Index Matched lenses.  Should we tell Leupold?

It's obviously a copyright infringement as far as the SS goes, that pic belongs to SWFA. This is likely an overseas thing, and fraudulent. The Leupold is probably a knockoff and likely a P.O.S.    Chris please keep us advised as to what you find out here.

No one answers the phone.  Something is not right for sure.

He is even using our stock numbers.  LEUCS56780

They don't have a good rating with the BBB

I have to wonder why they are using your stock #'s?  This whole thing just makes my sphincter itch. They're selling a scope which is exclusive, and also one that is of limited quantity. WTF? Selling them for less as well. How can this be happening? I can see how the Leupold might be possible, but an exclusive scope? I wonder if your contractor is screwing you, or what? Is there a shipment that was stolen?

Any bets that if you send money you don't bet a scope. Somewhat like a UGANDA scam with no recourse.
