Thank You, Gentlemen!

This forum is definitely a very special place for me (although Dolphin has just accused me of being biased toward more expensive products; we'll see how it goes Devil).

I stumbled onto this forum a few years ago looking for advice on some scopes and binoculars.  I mostly got very good advice, but some things I read here and elsewhere did not make too much sense.  I had a good understanding of optics, but little experience with sporting optics.  That is how my hobby with sporting optics started: I did some research and started doing comparisons.

I have to say it has been both interesting and educational and this journey would not be the same without all of you.  While many people here have become important to me, I have to say that cheaptrick has been a joy to talk with and tahqua's optimism and courage are  truly inspirational.

That's not cussing.  That is a descriptive (and accurate) term.

Way to go ILya, it is always great to learn from your expertise.

From the http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=sh*tstorm

sh*tstorm
30 up, 1 down

A gigantic cluster f**k... but not in a military sense.

A huge f**k-up of epic proportions of some sort or another and its ensuing calamity. As in, the person or normal situation you were supposed to be a part of is now so totally screwed up as to turn the entire scenario into a farce; or something that could end up in you going to either jail or losing your profession.
