I picked this up a couple weeks ago fully rigged for $675Big%20Grin, I was wondering if you guys could help ID it, ex: VSSF, SPS whatever letter code that Remington used to ID this particular gun. It is  brown laminated varmint stock??, heavy fluted barrel with an 11 degree target crown. Scope is an older Weaver T series 6x24x42.

It looks like a vssf with a vls stock. Think someone changed  the stock? The way it shoots I wouldn't care what they called it.  Nice !

Not sure about a stock swap.

Caliber is a 22-250 if that helps.

Yeah, I was more than pleased with the groups, maybe they will tighten up a little with handloads.Big%20Grin

It could have been a special run or something like that. Maybe you can check on remington's website with the serial #.
