What is you guys most accurate rifle and load?  I haven't been reloading long, but with my 270 using RL19 and 130 sp I have gotten an average of 1.2" at 100 yards.  I imagine if I tried some other powders and COL I might be able to improve that.  The rifle is a vanguard stainless.  I'm happy with it, although I have nothing to compare it to.  I have the same rifle in 243 and 338, but the 270 is more accurate followed closely by the 243.  The 338 comes in last, but that is probably me, cause of the heavy recoil.

My custom 243 that I built from a Parker Hale mauser action prints shots on top of each other with handloads.  My Weatherby Vanguard in a 308 will shoot any ammo on top of each other.  All of my Wbys. shoot very well, as does my Steyr in a 260 remington.

I've had more of a chance to mess with my 270 rounds.  I'm sure once I've tried different powders and such with the 243 the groupings will get better.  I've only reloaded about 80 rounds of the 243, all with the same powder and COL.  I'm still getting 1.25" groups with the 243 though.

your lucky then, when i had my 25 wssm i did over 50 different combos and nothing shot good enough for me, i tried three different bullets and 9 different powders. the .243 isnt going to be that tough, 4064 or 4895 usually do the trick

It was a pain, I was just before trading it on something else. A max load of H4895, Barnes TSX 100 grainers and I can cover 3 with a dime now.

Remington 22-250, it has printed several sub .300" groups with factory Federal premium 40 grain, the best so far being a .238". I have not even started to handload for this one.

My Remington 5R mil-spec has fired several .250" groups with FGM 168's.

Here's my most accurate rifle, by far.  It's a very unusual rifle with only 2 purposes on the planet:  long range varmint sniping and benchrest shooting (though it doesn't comply with any sanctioned BR rules).  At 25 lbs, I didn't build it to be carried.

The specifics:
Nesika Model T solid bottom single shot action
Hart 28" 1000 yd taper match barrel 1:14 twist (for lighter 70 gr. varmint bullets)
VAIS muzzle brake (so that rifle doesn't move at the shot in order to spot impact at long range)
Chambered in 6mm BR w/ 0.265" neck
Jewell BR trigger, set at 1.5 oz
Nightforce NXS 8-32X56 scope with NP-R1 reticle
Kelbly's rings on Nesika "Davidson" style bases
Sinclair solid aluminum and steel "F" class stock w/ adjustable buttpad and cheekpiece

There are many loads this rifle shoots well.  Since it is a 1:14 twist barrel, it shoots the 68 & 70 gr. bullets best -- Berger 68 & 70 FB, 70 gr. SMK & SBK, etc.  32.7 gr. N135 with these bullets results in essentially 1 hole groups, but average groups are in the high .1's and low .2's.
