Great scope, though I am not a fan of large objectives.

i just got a Lightseeker XL 2.5-10x50
I like it. Clear and works well in low light. I also have a Vari-X III 3.5-10x50 and the pentax is just as good or better for less money. |

I have a Lightseeker 3-9x43 (about 6-7 yrs old) that runs circles around the "new VXII" and is slightly better than the VXIII that my buddies at the lease showed up with last week. This is but another example of how many excellent scopes are out there that perform better at less cost than Leupold. We had fog and drizzle for 3 straight days. Not Leupold bashing, just stating personal experience....I had actually forgotten how good that Pentax is.

Matthew, I picked one up at a local store last year and put on my rifle
and went to the range. After the first 3 shots, my groups
went wild! Took it back and found that the scope was faulty. So,
I shelled out about another $50 for the 2.5-10x50 and haven't had a
problem since. For what it's worth!
