If any of you folks have a beer budget with champagne tastes like me take a look at the http://www.samplelist.com/default.aspx?prod_type=1&hide_sold=False. It just might let you get into some optics you thought were unreachable.
Here's a Kahles 1.1-4x24 C with illuminated circle dot mount in Warne QD's on a Ruger #1 45-70.

Here's another Kahles 1.1-4x24 C with a 4A reticle mounted on a Remington M700 Classic in .375 H&H. The mounts are Talley 30mm QD's.

Some of these excellent scopes are disappearing because of market demands for 6x erectors and Hubbel sized objectives. I can tell you that scopes like these are a definite step up from quality mid-range scopes like 4200, Monarch, and VX-III.

Those are 2 REALLY nice setups, Doug!Thunbs%20Up  The Kahles 1.1-4X24 is an outstanding dangerous game scope.  I'm partial to a high end low powered variable.  You have good taste!

You want to see a weathered face, Tip. Look at some of the ones with me in it.
BTW, I have had that gun in a few places and hopefully many to come.

Thanks, though!

Hi, Mike!
I'll have a range report on the .375 tomorrow. The rings and scope worked great, I didn't!

Looking at the sample list Kahles, how much difference, optically, is there between the Kahles 2.5-10x50 Helia CS Multizero, Kahles 3-10x50 Helia CL Multizero, Kahles 3.5-10x50 American Hunter? Is American hunter that much lower quality? Looking for placing on a RR varmint.

I finally found an older post that answered the questions. Love the heavy artilery. Not much here to use anything that heavy.

CS and CL are about the same.  American Hunter is a little worse, but not by much.  I just spent some time comparing 3-9x40 versions of CL and American Hunter.  There is a difference in resolution and I can see it, but only when I look for it.

Considering the title of this thread in conjunction with your response, I think my question is rhetorical but I have to ask it any way.

What did it do for you?  I think your response will be the same as what it did for me.  Nice rig eh!
Let me give you my two scents worth
