Hi, again.
I need a solution for mounting scopes in two rifles I have. I need detachable solutions, and I cannot see the models in the charts of Weaver/Warne/Millet. 1) Heckler & Koch SLB 2000 KB 2) Sako AV 30-06 (I think it is an evolution from L61R Finnbear), so should I use the 67 $ 65 standard top mount bases? or a 48962 grand slam dovetail 2-piece bases? I cannot sent this question to a warne email address. Any help would be very appreciated. |

Try jerry@warnescopemounts.com or dave@warnescopemounts.com ... one of them should be able to help you with the L61R application.

You need the HK05 scope mount or a Weaver rail for the SLB2000. You are going to do some work on this one, sorry.
Lagarto, are you in the USA? I haven't seen you in awhile. If you are USA,
http://www.swfa.com/pc-7866-477-b-square-sporting-rifle-mount.aspx Though they don't specifically mention the HK2000, all of the guns listed use the HK05 mount.

Thanks, thaqua.
I am from Spain, so I cannot purchase anything from SWFA. I use to read this forum every week and I like it a lot, I can learn from your experiences. I prefer the mounting systems using in USA, like Leupold, Warne, Weaver. Here in Europe the most usual is Apel EAW which it is very expensive (380€ mounts and rings, about 600$) and I also dislike it because of experiences missing the zero-in, the unique advantage is very quick to atach and deatach the scope to the rifle. I would like to use different scopes for a sako AV I got from a friend. Warne people has answered me that Warne GRL QD Rings for Sako75 could fit also the Sako AV, so I am going to looking for a USA web where purchase them. |
