Well, I've decided to paint "Faith", my Rem 700 varmint in .243. this was my first adventure with painting a rifle, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. What you guys think?

I'm not much into paint, but I do like how you included the name.

Krylon ultra flat fusion. Base coat of khaki, then random lines of brown, and green. Then looked over by someone who isn't colorblind. LOL.

Cutting that out with an x-acto knife SUCKED!! I should have found an easy font. I think I'm going to re-paint the name, and have the local sign company cut me out a vinyl stencil. I didn't take the time to cut every little detail in the name, but if I have a stencil made, it should look amazing. Here is what it's supposed to look like.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It's really nothing too special, I just wanted a rifle I could paint, and be my own tacticool "sniper rifle" clone that I could use for calling coyotes, and not be seen. So far, it's taken 2. One at 125 yds, and one at 380. After hitting them with a 95 gr. VLD, there is no point in skinning them though.
