Please help me decide. I can't afford an aimpoint or eotech so I have narrowed it down to these two. The winner will be on my AR15.  I have read a bunch on both of these and I can't decide!! The Votex seems to have the upper hand on quality but I hear that the red dot is not bright enough. The Bushnell 730132P Trophy 1x32mm red dot is not as well known but I hear that it is rugged and has a brighter red dot. Also...I think the Bushnell may give a better field of view than the 30mm Vortex. The deciding factor for me so far is that one Iraq vet said that he bought one when he got home for his AR15 and for him it is just as good as what he had in theater! Another vet said there were a lot of Bushnells over there on M4 rifles. I sure would like to get your opinions. At all the seller sites that have reviews, they are both rated in the 4.5-6 out of 5 range. This is going to be a less than 100yd optic. Best regards, Bil

Either one is a good choice. It's easier to find good rings for a 30mm as opposed to a 32mm. I'd go with the 30mm just in case the mounting hardware included is sub standard and you want to upgrade.

Welcome to the O.T.

If God didn't want me to play with it, he'd of made my arms shorter.
