He and his wife had migrated down from Brooklyn, Pennsylvania ( about 20 miles away...) by horse drawn wagon and he led the dairy cattle along the road with a stick.....

Well, mine is a six inch holster....but yes, they are nice holsters. That Colt Officers Model Match weighs 43 oz.! I will have to get a real substantial belt for it.
