Yes on the rings. Have not shot it yet, was going to today but wind is blowing to hard for me, personally to zero. I checked on a friends bushnell optical boresighter/collminator, and the tracking is perfect !! To boresight on this device needed only 1 moa up and 1/2 moa left. But like I said no rounds down range yet.

Savage model 11, chambered .300 wsm. Just bought it last year, only 40 rounds fired so far.

Also the picatinny rail is a millet 0 moa. This is the only part of the set up that I am not sure about. I think it raises the scope to high even with low rings, but I am looking into a cheek piece of some sort to try before I disassemble and srart over.

I'd recommend a Karsten kydex cheek piece.  If you have questions, call or email, he is very "hands-on" when it comes to Customer Support.

 That Karsten cheekpiece that Rancid recommended would look nice on that rifle, besides working well.
 I should get one of them myself...
