...and here I thought someone was going to post a pic of an attractive young woman...

:)

...but I guess this is legitimate too.

:D

I saw the title and thought it was an 8-Shots post.  Sad

I've done the same thing with a pair of Zeiss 20x60 Stabilized, except I put the stock in between the eye pieces.  Took a monster muley on the banks of the Powder River a few miles from Chris LeDoux's house and I don't think I would have been able to make the shot with out the binos because there was absolutely nothing to rest on and no cover to get closer.  I was using a Model 7 chambered in .260 improved and it put that muley straight down a little of 300 yards away.

Ahh, I did not notice that he was resting his hand and subsequently the gun on the binoculars. I thought the binoculars were just in front of the gun and the point of the thread was that someone was actually using them to hunt with......

;)

Now somebody needs to post a pic with a rifle laying flat and a pair of binoculars resting on top of the stock so the user can get a steader view....

:-P

That's awesome.  I had thought of it before, but never done it.  Might have to reconsider hauling those eyepieces around, now.
