I had this made by the custom shop at Savage back in September and have been waiting for the stock since October, this is actually the second one from the second stock maker, only took 5 months from him.
 Savage Model 110LE,7mm rem mag., 20" barrel,SSS fluted bolt/tactical handle,EGW 0moa base,SS tactical rings,SS20x, stock from Joel Russo rifle stocks,finish by me.

Sorry about the size but I can't figure out how to size the picture to fit any other way.

Really interesting rifle I have never had a 7mm Rem Mag but have always thought it would be an awesome choice and in the Savage 110LE it should really be an accurate rifle.  The thumbhole stock should be a really comfortable bench rest stock so Im sure you will get a lot of fun out of it.  Congratulations on the new rifle. The 20x is a bargain for what you get, I am waiting for the 6x version to come out this summer, I saw the prototype of it when I was at SWFA in April.

If you like the rifle you should like the first target ever from it, this was only supposed to be for sighting in but I decided to go for a group. 7 shots measuring 0.597 @100 yards, 160sierra BTSP,48.8 gr.IMR4895,CCI magnum primer.
I think it is a keeper.

I haven't chrono the load yet was just trying to see what it would do for groups.
When my friend gets back from Africa (he is on hunting trip) I'll get him to set up his chrono and put it through it.
 A guesstamate is around 2600.

I fired 40 rounds thru it on Sunday and with that stock off the bench it was no worse than my 260rem. set up pretty close to the same way.

I love the 7 RM great cartridge. Why the interrupted flutes on the bolt though?
