You guys have been a great help in Choosing optics
My price range is under $400 I have chosen the Bushnell 4200 2.5 10 40
If it was over $400 it would be Conquest.
Where is the best place to purchase? Also many of you have said no to illuminated reticle- Does anyone like theirs? Fire fly or battery illuminated reticle |

I thought my mind was made up. It's not! This is a big investment for me and I want to be sure I purchase the right one. Sightron SII, Weaver Grand Slam, and Bushnell 4200 seem to be comparable to each other. Or should I spring for the Zeiss? I have looked through the 4200 and the Grand Slam- outside only during mid-day. No noticeable difference. But for the evening hunts what is the top winner. This will be my final decision. The Aetec is getting older by the minute and the deer are moving later and later. Thanks Edited by joeybe |

What about the 4200 2.5-10x40 for $309? Or the Zeiss 3.5-10x44 for $390? Edited by joeybe |
