Anyone using one on their muzzleloader?  Burris shows minimum impact differences at the various yardage hash marks when using a .50 cal w/250gr bullet @ 2100fps mv:
      zero @ 125yds
      0 drop @ 150
      +1" @  200
      0 drop @ 250
      -1" @ 300

Although I wouldn't consider shooting game at the extreme distances it would be fun for targets.
One more thing. How is the image quality and low light performance on these scopes?

With a 100 yd zero using a 250 gr sabbot in a 50 cal musket and 150 grains tripple 7 you will have about a 10 inch drop at 200 yds and if you use 120 grains of tripple 7 you will have about a 12 inch drop at 200 .  You should verify that this is the same with your barrel but the trajectory listings above dont make sense to me.  Leatherwood has a muzzleloader scope with marks that look correct. I have a Nikon Omega on one musket but I'm not wild about the circles for hold over marks however it has killed deer out to 200 reliably. One of of my boys uses a Leupold VXIII 4.5-14x50 LR and dials in correction for distance and just killed one at 328 yds.  If something is ethical or not depends on your level of skill and the distance you practice at and you can use a scope to dial in correction for trajectory you just need to put in the range time to be sure what you are getting.

THANK ya. All I can do right now is go by what Burris says:

                 http://www.burrisoptics.com/pdf/BPlxlabl.pdf

This past summer I worked up a load for a friends .257 Roberts w/FFII BP scope. I used a bullet with a b/c close to the one Burris used, pushed at the same velocity as Burris did to match a trajectory on the chart. According to my friend it was close enough for government work.
The muzzleloader is not mine so I'll tell the guy to try it and just see what happens.

I like mine.  I have it on a TC Omega.  The clarity and performance are very good for the $$$ spent.  Probably my favorite between my nikon buckmaster and leupold vari-xii and it.  In low light it is good for the level of scope.  I feel it is brighter than the other 2 I mentioned.

I use a Burris 2-7 with BP on my Knight. I like the scope but mostly just use the main X-hair.
