The Photo Contest theme for February is "Night Photography." The subject can be anything, as long as the shot was taken at night.

Stacked 50 exposures each 30 seconds long.  The rotation of the Earth did the rest.

First attempt at this technique, but it gave me some great ideas for the future.

Nope, Lily is an English Springer, I have two more also.

I should say I'm tooooo old for 3 Springers but that's all I ve ener owned with exception of a Standard Poodle which was smarter than all of the Springers that I've owned.

My only regret is I never hunted her. When I was a youngster a rep that called on the store that I managed had a black Standard male that traveled with him and when he visited in the Fall we hunted pheasants & ducks over him and he was great.

Wonderful memories.

What is impressive is there are no ghost in the tree limbs. Very nice!

When the contest was for 'Winter' we really had not had any winter weather here in southeast Missouri.  We have had a real good dose of winter the last two weeks with 10" of snow and temps as low as -18.  This is a pic from my deck I took about 30 minutes ago.
