This poll is a continuation of a prior poll, tainted by a Sightron enthusiast.

Time will tell how Premier holds up, but for now, it is fantastic glass, great turrets, great adjustment range, and tough as hell.

Aren't they all 34mm tube tactical scopes? I'm surprised they don't have an offering for benchrest.

There will be a wide variation caused by the varying number of hunting shooters and the target shooters.

For a hunting scope Zeiss. My other choice did not make the list, for the life of me I don't know why. USO SN-3.

Welcome, Voodoo6! I'm sure you're just too sexy for the poll! I had the exact same problem initially until folks started looking past my intimidating sex appeal and saw the warm, caring person inside.
Mark me down for Zeiss, Mr. Coolaid! Close call between it and other brands, but I like their overall combination of models, reticles, and glass quality the best. My absolute favorite individual scope is a S&B 1.5-6X42 Zenith w/Flashdot #9 reticle, but S&B as a brand isn't my favorite because they are just too damn expensive overall. At least Zeiss has both the uber expensive Victory series and the Conquest line, so you have options that don't hurt the budget quite so much.

picking a favorite brand of scope is like picking your favorite brand of scotch or rifle. all various models have a lot to offer and each one has it's special purpose for a certain reason. for me to pick out a single brand is difficult. if i had to pick out one brand to cover all situations based on the models they offer, it would have to be leupold, but Kahles has a special place, as does Trijicon and Hawke. 2 price ranges with great glass that foot the bill depending on your needs.

not sure what this means, but I do NOT own 2 of the same model of any scope. Currently, I have 2 Kahles scopes, a 3-10X50 & 2-7X36. I have several 3-9X40, but all different. Mr fav. individual scope is probably the 3-10X50 Kahles - but that might be because I paid the most for it and "think" its the best. If I were to pick a fav. brand, might go with Zeiss. I have a 3-9X40 Conquest and its a dandy. I don't have any higher end Zeiss, but I know they are at/near the top!
Oops, I have 2 Redfields too, but not same model.
