Ouch !    beware of the chinese

I'll try to point out what is a good scope deal on a good scope so you can have a chance of being happy even years after the sale and I wont go too outrageous on price. Of these the Bushnell probably has the best glass. The Super Sniper and the Nikon being my personal favorites from this list but any of these provide you good value for the quality of optics you are getting and are made by reliable companies who will be in business when you need them in the future.  You get what you pay for - sometimes less - never more.

I think the fact that you have to ask W-H-O, "Famous Maker" is should be telling enough.

I know it is a cheap scope so my expectations are not that high, i looked through it at the shop and the picture was really clear (even better than my bushnell trophy) the only thing i did not like was the low amount of eye releif

btw thanks for the input

I know what Maker's Mark is....Famous Mark or Maker sounds like some sort of bourbon.

Ya I think they got the name by looking through a bottle of wiskey they had sittiing around when they were making the scopes and it had a similar picture.

Hi,

I have three Famous Maker scopes.  8-32X44 on a 22 lr bench rest gun and two 6-24X56 scopes  (the second scope is the back up for a fifty BMG).

Both scopes are bright with good resolution with good repeatable clicks but you must line up perfectly behind the ocular to avoid vignetting.

Used the 6-24X56 to take two thirds in heavy gun class(group and score) in a 1000 yd match this April.
