is this normal... happen to anyone else...  After I shoot for awhile, it gets harder and harder to keep my left eye closed.  I'm a right handed shooter so close my left eye to see thru scope.  I get to concentrating so much on keeping my left eye shut, that my right eye starts to close.

Tip69,

Yes,it is one of things that can happen when shooting long strings. What you could try is taping over the closed eye side of a pair shooting glasses it should also help reduce the open eye side fatigue and then shoot with both eyes open.

In my days on range in the Marines we used a simple black patch over the weak side eye. Now I try to use both eyes for the most part, just closing the left eye before the shot.

I shoot with both eyes open and I get Eye Fatigue also. It's normally my right eye I look thru the scope with gets weak for a few minutes. Its been that way for as long as I can remember.

First of all, as said above, try to shoot with both eyes open. You will get used to it soon. Also, try to concentrate on reticle, not on target. Also, after long day using of cheap optics my eye becomes "blurry".

Regards.
