They all have some products that are better than others.

Depending on model, these companies will source either assembly or parts from the following countries:

China
Japan
Germany
Czech Republic
USA
I'm sure there are others.

Not this time,I've been down with a cold for 2 weeks & I just couldn't deal with the 5 hour round trip drive.I't to bad as there was no show last year & I usually score some nice items there!Did you make it?That is hands down the best sportsman show in Pa.I hope the NRA did well with it's first farm show.

North Korea really doesn't have much impact on our scope market...

Rustic was obviously either being facetious or just threw a dart at a world map and spouted off whatever country it landed on.

There is no component whatsoever in any of those rifle scopes of North Korean origin.

Was this mystery brand pronounced M-I-N-O-X, Z-E-I-S-S, or M-E-O-P-T-A, per the OP's question?

I didn't think so.

No these were much lower end quality but, not on price. Typical European price very high over there. The tactical was if I recall right 399 euros and the regular was 270 something. I am thinking they are similar to BSA in their fit and finish.

There is a very large sporting goods store in Wurzburg near where I do business. The prices are astronomical to say the least. I think their cliental have to be the equivalent to our yuppies - who want guns and such. I know... strange.
