When is this going to be available?

Oh, and do you have any idea of when the Holosight XLP will be in stock?

Supposed to be out late this year or early next, not sure on price yet.

XLP Holosights are do in this fall (thats the best Bushnell can tell us)

We have the Aimpoint magnifier in stock and we are testing it this weekend to see if it works with EOTechs.

Hmm, nice, plus you can easily switch between it and a AN/PVS-14 for night time.  I'm assuming that using it with the EOTech won't require the spacer, Plz let me know.

PS  How tall is the new Holosight compared to the EOTech?   I'm looking for an economical alternative for my wife's AR shorty and I like the fact it uses AAA batteries.

Here's another idea.  Why not have folks that make the SS make a 3x or 4x monocular that would work with the regular M68 quick detach (or any of the better non-OEM mounts) that would do the same thing as the Aimpoint 3x?  The Aimpoint looks pretty nice but $600 for the unit plus the twist mount is a bit beyond my budget  ($200 would be better, which the SS 3x should be able to do).

Hi

Tought maybe you would be interested to see the prototype I made that became the twistmount.

The 3X booster on the picture is also a prototype.

I work for Defendor AB in Sweden and we do a fair amount of aimpoint prototypes and construktions.

The rifle is a AK5D a swedish shorty version of the FNC rifle.

Regards Håkan Spuhr

Very cool.  Do you have a twist mount version for you night vision monocular (similar to our AN/PVS-14) for night time use?  I would love to see a photo of that set up if you have one.

Sorry

I have made a number of mounths that not is in production,  and as long they just are prototypes I cannot show them to anyone else. I can only show a mounth when its patented and in full production.

Regards Håkan

Chris,

How did things go with playing around with the Aimpoint 3x?   Any possibility of producing a 3x SS-quality optic as I asked above?

We only had one in stock and it sold before I could play with it.

I've got notes made to discuss your idea at our next board meeting.
