I recently purchased a Remington P and I slapped a KO Le. 3.5-10x50 on it, to try it out.
It didn't break, but the resolution is low and the quality of glass is way to obvious after 2-300m. Might be good on a 22LR, but on a "real" rifle it's not trustworthy.
I was looking at the Bushnell Elite 3200 10x40 (MD)..... How is this scope for a beginner's mildot?

Welcome to The OT!!

The Bushy is probably OK, but I would recommend the 10x Super Sniper instead.

SS has a 30mm tube allowing for more adjustment, the Bushnell only has a 1" tube.

The SS adjustments are dead nuts reliable and repeatable too.

Good shooting!

I have a Bushnell 3200 10x40 mildot mounted on a Steyr SSG that I have used extensively in Iraq. I think it is the best optic for the money out there. It has never let me down and I use it out past 800m routinely. I really like the positive 1/4MOA adjustments, the general simplicity, and THE TURRETS THAT STAY INDEXED!! The Super Sniper 10x42 is another excellent choice-I have 2 at the house.

Semper Fi!!

Thank you.
The only true tactical scope I have is an 4x24 IOR M1. It is a very nice scope, I use it on my M14S, but for a long range rig, I'm afraid it lacks the magnification.
How far can one shoot (with relative accuracy, not just minute of torso) a 4x?

PS. Of the two (SS and 3200) which has clearer optics?
