Welcome.  Harris bipods are very popular. The shooting sticks are also popular with lots of hunters. I tend not to hunt with them even though I have some Harris bipods as they add weight to the front of the rifle but a lot depends on how you hunt. If you laid down along the edge of a field they would be very useful. I dont have any of the sticks but I may pick up a set for coyote hunting sitting with my back to a tree. If you stalk game or hunt from a ladder stand or blind you usually dont need anything. So the answer depends on how you hunt.  On the range that is a whole different story you need good support there.

If you buy a Harris bipod  get the  Series "S" Rotates to either side for instant leveling on uneven ground. Hinged base has tension adjustment and buffer springs to eliminate tremor or looseness. They are otherwise similar to non-rotating Series.
