I though I would share the view from my Backpack Elk Camp the evening before opening of rifle.

Camera was Sony RX100III
Mild Post in Lightroom.

Awesome shot, Matt!

As others stated, I'm jealous of the scenery you guys have up there! Every time I visit the Rocky Mountain states, I always start thinking of how I can find employment there and move there!

Very nice shot… perhaps better than the snow picture…

Reminds me of "one'a' these days I'm gonna climb that mountain… walk up there among them hills…"

The elementary school was across the street. Up hill to school and down hill to the house. Anyway, I rode my bike.

Thanks for the replies!

It is cheating taking photos in Montana.  Astounding views in every direction, from everywhere.

Young'en. I grew up on the original. When Old Rivers died it would bring a tear to my eye.

I think I could narrow it down to about 15K sq. miles! :-) But mostly want to say that even if it can be easier to take beautiful pictures in Montana, this one really stands out. Amazing light.
