Did this question just get asked a little bit ago...or do I need to slack up on the Evan Williams?

Either one will do fine,  but I'd probably get the Bushnell just for the heck of it.

Both are great scopes. If you want a BDC reticle go with Nikon if you want rainguard lens coatings go with the 4200.

I'd go with the 4200 (which I recently did), especially since it has the Rainguard coating.  The optics are pretty nice, and it is a good looking scope.

I only have experience with the 3-9x40 in both flavors. I think it's a toss up there.

Either. The 4200 has rainguard, the Monarchs have much better eye relief. You decide which is more important to you.
