The above scope looks interesting for the proce. How these 3 scopes would compare?:
1) Bushnell Elite 4200 2.5x10x50  30 mm with illuminated 4a recticle for $468
2) Nikon Monarch Gold 2.5x10x50 30mm with BDC recticle - $709.95
3) Burris XTR 3x12 30mm with Illuminated MD - $709
I like the looks of the Nikon BDC but can get the Burris illuminated for same price with more adjustable magnification; but the price tag of the Bushnell looks good too. Don't know about the 1moa dot on the Bushnell - Does this defeat the purpose of 30mm adjustable elevation advantage when looking at 600-800 yards? (as in Big dot) Also wonder did they just put their 1" parts in a 30mm tube?

Burris XTR Ill MD would be my choice from the three scopes listed.

I dont think you can go wrong with any of these however my first inclination is I like the Nikon but after some thought I would say the Burris has more going for it.

If the price is the same...I'd buy the Burris. I think the Nikon should be less money being they are now being made in a cheap labor country.
Can you see me now...
