What sort of a warranty do the Elcans carry? (Not the thermal stuff, just the 'normal' rifle optics!)

Also, who would we need to contact for tritium replacement, when that time comes? I am some years off, but it'll be nice to know...

Elcans are under a 5 year warranty, but thats just on paper. I'm sure they wouldn't turn away someone that purchased a $1000 sight from them.

Elcan sights will loose half of it's current brightness after every 12.3 years. So after 12.3 years the tritium will be half as bright from when the sight was assembled. Then another 12.3 years goes by and the brightness is diminished down to 1/4 of it's original brightness. It is physically impossible for the tritium to be replaced in a Elcan sight.

You can contact Andrew Webber @ Armament Technology . He is the Distributor for Leitz of Canada. And yes you can change the tridium as it is a capsule that is inserted in the scope. but when you do they have to recharge the nitrogen.
