Does anyone know anything about Eberlestock back packs? are they well made and designed?

I've used some Kifaru stuff and it is excellent, but it is a bit too pricy for me.  Hence I am curious if there are less expensive, but still well made substitutes.

I've always heard good stuff about Eberlestock.  I've not used any of their packs but, everything I've read about them has been very complimentary.

Badlands is another good brand that you might want to examine.

There packs seem pretty good. I mostly use Russian and Isreili military packs and pouches.

I get some pretty good prices on some new stuff that looks very similar.

If you stay away from the top drawer expedition stuff

http://www.gregorypacks.com/

has some pretty good packs. Those other two look pretty nice, also. What I like about their sites is they promote hunting. If I was looking for something new, these companies would warrant a first look.

I've never heard of them but after digging around on their site I might be replacing my Crooked Horn Non-Typical pack.

I think I'll be getting a Just One pack from eberlestock, although Sierra Trading post is selling the discontinued X1 for $80.
