Roy Your Cooper looks like it is blued rather than the matte. I have 2 matte and they both try and catch when pushing the bolt forward quickly. Have you seen this problem on yours?

I don't have that problem with mine. The Custom Classic's are polished blue and slicker than the Classic's.

Yes, rifle looney that is one of the nicest rifles I've ever owned.

I know I don't have anywhere near as many as dale, but I do use a spreadsheet to keep track of my serial numbers!  I used to keep it on my work pc, but since I haven't been working......... I need to update it and put it on a disk!

My classic has no problem. It is the Jackson Squirrel and the LTV. Here is the Western Classic. I love the Octgon barrel and case color . It was my first Cooper.   Big Grin
