..............Yes thrrrr! Already saw the scoop (video) on the Hornady site!...........Rumor has it, that we`ll see a 416 Ruger rifle like the Alaskan in early `09!......BUT! I won`t be getting one! Un-needed for my use, no pack EEEE derms on my list!!........For moose, bison and big bears, my primary use, I think my 375 Ruger will do just spiffy!

I've only got enough money for the Ruger.  I was about ready to purchase the 375 when I heard that the 416 was coming out.  I've already got a 338 win, so I figure I might as well get the 416.

...........That`s why the Ruger Alaskan/African DGR`s are so attractive! Their price!! Give us all a rifle review after you get the 416 Ruger Alaskan.

snort   ( snôrt )  v. i.  to breathe violently through the nose:   n.  the sound produced by such breathing.

I like SNORT!!   I thought it was a very good use of the word.  I think I shall sometimes use that term to describe power and pawing of the earth!!!!   Thunbs Up
