Pawn shops guys, pawn shops. I discovered pawn shops are great places to buy jewellery at rock bottom prices. Why do I mention this you ask, because if you wind up getting her some crappy gift that you payed a fortune for, like a new vacum or washing machine, you can save yourself from the DOG HOUSE (I've been there) by giving her some impressive looking piece of jewellerey that you didn't pay that much for. Hint, stay away from diamonds and go for the other stones; most pawn brokers can't determine if the other stones are real and sell based on the weight of the gold.

Thought I would show my wife how much I loved her so I gave her a S&W mod. 60 for her birthday (first year of marriage). Good thing I didn't give her the box of 38s or she would have used it on me.
If she asked for a new frying pan for Christmas and that was all she wanted, Iwould still go by the pawn shop. It's cheap divorce insurance, and I'm too old to start over.

My wife is more of the practical type. She wants something that she has a use for. HELP!! I thought about getting her a memory foam couch cushion so her butt doesn't get sore while watching t.v. What do you buy someone who spends their time watching t.v.? And something they'll use, none the less. Oh man, doghouse for sure.

Gift certificate for a pedicure or massage would be my suggestion but I'm so far in the dog house right now that I'm not sure what to get. Better look at the Pawn Shop I guess.

For several years, for spite my wife returns anythig I get her. So I made her give me a list. Everything gets returned again. Next year I got the list and made her to go pick out what she wanted. It was still returned. Now if she wants anything for Christmas she has to get it herself. Been this way for the past 6 years. I feel better about Christmas now. I still hate it, but not quite as bad.
