Besides the difference  in  range all I see is   compass and  declinometer.

Im not  understanding  the  purpose  of the  declination  feature in the RX-IV line.  after  searching and  searching , all I can come up with is it accounts  for  curvature of the earth?

how far  off am I here?

I believe declination takes into account the difference between true and magnetic north.
