Is there any practical difference for the recreational long-range shooter between the Leupold PRW rings & their premiere Mk-IV rings? Thx!...

PRW's are your typical inexpensive Weaver rings. QRW's are nicer. Mark IV's have more evenly distributed holding force and MUCH more clamping power. PRW's are not made for return-to-zero and quick on/off like QRW's.

If you are shooting something low recoil (heavy barrel .308Win for example) you can probably get away with cheap rings. If you are shooting a .30 class magnum or larger, particularly on a light rifle, you might want to look into a better ring.
