Does such a scope exist? I'm looking for a variable scope, something for CQB(targets only, I hope)and for mid range work to take advantage of the .308. Any ideas?

if your going to use one of the sporting type scopes, a lower range, weaver, burris, or something, the largest problem with fal types is the extremely low cheek weld. magpul now makes an adjustable cheek riser and length of pull stock you may want first. if not, most of your shots will be heads up and no cheek rest.
