Interested in Sample List #3535: Leica 8x50mm BN Ultra Hunting Set.

Would like for you to hand inspect these bins & tell me if the cleaning scratches are in the lens coating or the lenses themselves. Does this item have all original factory paperwork? Owners manual, warranty, etc.

Will SWFA discount this item 5-10% to make a quick sale?

Thanks.

Cleaning scratches appear to be in the coating, not the glass.  I took a quick peak through them, and you can't even tell they are there.

Instruction booklet, as well as a warranty card are in the box. The card says it has a 1 year warranty.

Sorry, they are marked up only a few bucks to begin with, but I will be glad to let you have free shipping, and handling, if you are interested in purchasing them.

Still interested, but could you explain the one year warranty. Leicas' carry a lifetime warranty, correct? I believe its called the Passport Warranty. Are they refurbished?

Thanks.

They were purchased directly from Leica as a Demo.  The card states that the product is "used equipment".

It appears Leica has changed things.  If you fill out the card enclosed, and mail it in, you will have a lifetime warranty with the glasses.  The passport warranty only applies to new goods, which means  you are covered by a "no fault" warranty for life.
